Ma NarmAda Gyan Peeth
Circumambulating Mother Narmada is not intended to be a purely selfish undertaking. One must make sure that their contributions to the parikrama path are made with the utmost sincerity and commitment in order to embark on this holy trip. The only way to properly benefit the Narmada Parikrama is to do it this way. In this genuine testament, Narmada Maiya is shown to be held in the highest regard and reverence.
Upon completing the Parikrama, Vivek ji promptly established the Ma Narmda Gyan peeth without delay. The establishment of the institution was driven by the imperative to undertake a multitude of tasks that were deemed essential to the successful execution of the Parikrama. The task at hand was multifaceted, involving a variety of responsibilities. These included maintaining and supporting the temples mentioned in Puran and Sanhitas, promoting visits to the teerthas among the locals and Parikramavasis, charting the Parikrama route, planting trees along the Narmada river and other key locations, ensuring the Parikrama Path remained clear, fostering relationships with individuals along the Parikrama path, and providing aid to the Anna kshetra as needed.
Not only does the Anna Kshetra offer refuge, but it also serves as a source of nourishment for the vast majority of Parikramavasis who embark on the Narmada Parikrama. Furthermore, there are certain establishments that provide essential amenities, such as healthcare and clothing. Unfortunately, the Parikamavasi have neglected their responsibility to uphold the upkeep of the surrounding area. As a result, the absence of adequate sanitation infrastructure has led to the frequent contamination of the vicinity by the waste produced by those who are undertaking the Narmada Parikrama. People who are able to provide lodging and food frequently ignore or have difficulties in setting up appropriate restrooms for the flood of parikramavasis that stay in their area for five months out of the year.
As Vivek ji embarked on his parikrama journey, he encountered a disconcerting predicament. The matter of lavatory facilities and the unsanitary conditions resulting from the travels of parikramavasis caught his attention. Without delay, he notified the nearby residents, parikramavasis, and neighbouring populace of the predicament at hand. He implored the aid of all those he encountered, urging them to exercise prudence in ensuring ample lavatory facilities for the parikramavasis, particularly women who are often most inconvenienced by the lack of such amenities along the route.
Upon completion of the parikrama by Vivek ji, Ma Narmada Gyan Peeth endeavours to construct an ample number of lavatories for the parikramavasis, thereby ensuring the sanctity of the parikrama route and the surrounding village. The ongoing project entails a purposeful strategy for the sequential installation of essential lavatories.
