Amidst great anticipation, I arrived in Dhadgaon to a grand reception. Upon reaching the guest house where I was to reside, a series of events were scheduled for the day. During one such event, I delivered a speech on the significance of Shulpani and recounted my personal encounter with the place, which I aptly titled "Shulpani Kailash".

Legend has it that the divine abode of Lord Shiva lies nestled in the majestic Kailash, a place of immense sanctity. However, the sovereignty of this holy site is currently under the jurisdiction of China. Legend has it that Shulpani bears witness to Lord Shiva's holy footsteps, as he traversed the region for miles on end. It is said that the deity even paused to cleanse his trident in the waters of an ancient temple that once stood in the area, now submerged beneath the depths of the Sardar Sarovar Dam. It was here that he united with Devi. I couldn't help but feel that Lord Shiva was present in these mountains, as he must surely be where his devotees are. The appeal was truly captivating, and I had already made my decision beforehand. However, today I took the liberty of publicly announcing my annual pilgrimage to the enchanting Shulpani forest.

It is a time for me to connect with the locals, exchange warm greetings, and strengthen the bonds that tie us together. As the sun slowly descended below the horizon, I was joined by none other than Superintendent of Police and a distinguished judge from the area. During this encounter, a profound bond was forged with the esteemed judge, which would ultimately lead to a plethora of exciting relationships.
